Les Mills Midwest brings our third Quarterly of 2010 to Chicago at Rosemont Health & Fitness near O’Hare Airport on Saturday August 21. We double the dose and take the Quarterly on the road to Kansas City, KS on Sunday August 22 at the Gold’s Gym in Merriam.

Sara is a favorite Club Industry presenter, a frequent IHRSA presenter and has led countless Group Fitness for Profit Seminars at such events as IDEA, Can-Fit Pro, DCAC as well as over a dozen international events throughout the world. She was selected as a 2005 and 2006 Ronald Reagan Gold Medal winner distinguishing her as a business leader who has contributed to the economic health of her community. In 2006, she received the Illinois state honor as Business Woman of the year. Currently, Sara is the CEO of SCW Fitness Education and the COO of Les Mills Midwest. She is a licensed attorney who graduated from Washington University School of Law, and completed undergraduate work from Cambridge University in England. She appears frequently on CNN as a Health and Fitness Expert, is a former adjunct faculty member for the Kenneth Cooper Institute for Aerobic Research, a lecturer for the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Association of Sports Medicine, and the proud recipient of AEA’s Global Award for Contribution to the Aquatic Industry. Sara is a fitness editor for Oxygen Magazine and shares her wealth of knowledge regarding group exercise to thousands monthly. |

Module 1 is a journey through Martial Arts. It will help you unlock the secrets of Karate, Capoeira, Boxing, Kick Boxing and Tae kwon do, making you into an authentic and confident role-model and coach.

Module 1 creates awareness of instructors’ own technique as well as their members’. Instructors learn how to coach spinal safety and yoga and Pilates poses in the most effective way. This will give them the ability to be in essence and completely present.
